Janie & Jack
In 2019, I developed a concept and collection of patterns for Janie & Jack’s Summer 2020 girls line. I started by researching current trends and pattern performance then narrowed in on a palette and general aesthetic. A few of the patterns were taken directly from my personal library of vintage textiles and translated to modern, youthful color. Others were drawn and designed from scratch including a watercolor tropical bird. To tie the ideas together, I created mock ups of each pattern on proposed product silhouettes.
